First Autumn Buys

Well the joy of pay day didn't last long, i was unfortunately in debt to both my dad (due to owing him the deposit on my old flat) and to my Topshop card, which had a backlog of £45 worth of clothes :(
Luckily, i managed to get my hands on the beautiful Topshop buckle boots i've been dying to buy for the past month:

Honestly, if there's one thing i'm a complete sucker for, its a pair of black ankle boots! And these beauties are going to be my favorites for this winter! Whilst on my little shopping spree i also picked up some more Topshop goodies in the form of a lovely monochrome pattered shirt and some black leather trousers (another must have from my A/W13 wishlist)

I've had a busy few weeks & therefore haven't kept on top of this as much as i would have liked :( nevertheless, this is an outfit post from last week when i was at work. I've been working a lot of overtime (I work as an Admin Assistant at Topshop) recently and so i've had to broaden my wardrobe as i'm always inclined to wear Topshop every time im at work. This outfit was for a day when i was helping out with interviewing of new members of staff and i wanted to look presentable so i decided to throw one of my favourite kimono's (which also happens to be from Topshop) :)

                                                        Aztec print snood: Topshop
                                                        Black trousers: Primark
                                                        Black cowboy boots: New Look

Well summer is definitely drawing to a close here in Newcastle, the weather's getting duller, nights are getting darker earlier and its a hell of a lot cooler! As of Friday (a well overdue payday!) i will be having a complete overhaul in autumn clothes, so i thought i'd make the most of the last days of summer with a very color-popping outfit today. One of the perks of living with your best friend is that you have complete access to each others wardrobe, so i pinched this yellow cami top and green cargo coat of hers to wear to work today with my trusted black stretch trousers and cowboy boots! Im not usually the biggest fan of neon colours, but this outfit was so comfy and relaxed and the bright colour certainly put a smile on my face for my shift at work! :)

Autumn/Winter 13 Wishlist

Black buckle boots- Topshop
Black long line coat- River Island
Red paisley jacket- Primark
Tartan scarf- Primark
Leather look trousers- H&M

Autumn/Winter is my favourite time of year, clothes wise. There's something thrilling about scouring for that perfect winter coat and ankle boots that gets me excited at this time every year. These are a few of the items on this years wishlist. Seen as i wear my winter coats to death (contrary to belief, some geordie girls DO wear coats!) i always feel it necessary to invest in a good coat that will keep for the whole winter, and even for the following winter! I am in love with this River Island coat and will be purchasing as soon as Student Finance grace my bank account with my loan! I've also had my eye on these beautiful Topshop boots from the minute they came in store, here's to some serious shopping in the next few weeks :)
